We’re excited to introduce our newest community manager, Ashes.Waffle (or simply Ash) to the Team Resilience family! From the moment Ash joined our Discord, her energy and passion stood out. She brings a unique background in International Politics with a focus on Peace, Violence, and Security, but her career path has led her to the Gaming Industry where she truly shines.
Ash is all about building connections, and her enthusiasm for creating a welcoming and collaborative environment fits perfectly with our mission. Specializing in event planning and driven by motivation, Ash is ready to elevate our community experience and help create more meaningful interactions. We truly think she will fit well into our team.
Fun facts? She has a Miniature Longhaired Dachshund (ADORABLE) named Fabien, loves classic single-player games like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, enjoys friendly competition in Overwatch 2, and has a growing LEGO collection. Her love for cooking, especially Korean cuisine inspired by her Grandmaw, adds to her vibrant personality.
Ash’s journey to Team Resilience was sparked by the welcoming spirit of our community and our shared belief in supporting and celebrating resilience. Her excitement to join us stems from seeing TR as more than just an organization – it’s a place where people lift each other up and succeed together.

About me: Heyooo! Waffles here!!! You can also call me Ashes or Ash (: I’m just a girl who went to school for International Politics with a concentration in Peace, Violence, and Security but somehow ended up working in the Gaming Industry! I have a Miniature Longhaired Dachshund named Fabien and he is my whole world (seriously). I love playing Single-Player games like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy, or most any Nintendo game, however, I do love some competition and will occasionally hop on Overwatch 2 when I get the itch. I’m super into LEGO and have just started my own collection, both with old/discontinued sets and new sets. I love cooking, especially Korean food (shoutout to my Grandmaw for helping teach me the art of Korean cooking) and enjoy sharing recipes with others. I’m very open and love meeting new people from all over the world and because of that, I truly hope that I can connect with many of you soon.
Why I joined Team Resilience: I decided I wanted to join Team Resilience (TR) almost as soon as I joined their Discord. The community was just so welcoming, and everyone seemed like they really wanted to see each other succeed. When asked what the mission of TR was, I was told that TR wanted to “encourage all people to be proud of their resilience and share their wins with others who embody and share the same goals” which is something that really resonated with me. TR isn’t just a “only think of me” organization, TR is an organization that truly wants their people to work together, succeed together, and climb together to reach their goals and beyond!
